What it does
A practice companion that reacts to what you actually play, not a metronome and a video to keep up with.
It listens as you play
Connect a digital piano and Klavis Piano reads the notes you press, following your place in the score in real time.
Practice your way
Wait mode pauses on each note until you get it right; Play-through mode follows along at your pace. Practice one hand at a time and loop tricky bars.
See what to work on
Suggested finger numbers, a mini keyboard or falling keys, a metronome, and a log of your mistakes so you know exactly what needs practice.
Your library stays yours
Your sheet music and practice data are saved on your own device — never uploaded to our servers. Nothing to sign up for.
How it works
Three steps from a file to your first guided run-through.
Import
Add a MusicXML file (.mxl, .xml, or .musicxml) from your device.
Connect
Plug in your digital piano over USB and allow MIDI access when asked.
Play
Start playing — the app follows along and guides you note by note.
What you need: a digital piano connected over USB and a recent version of Chrome, Edge, or Firefox (this also works on an iPad in those browsers, but not in Safari). Klavis Piano is a free, experimental beta — things may change or break. Your imported files and practice data live only in your browser on this device, so clearing your browser data or switching browser/device will remove them. Keep your own copies of your files.
